I liked what Rosslyn said that inspirational publishing exists not as a self-segregated market, but because mainstream publishing industry has a beef with anything that smacks of religion. Although I am not a Christian, religious faith plays an important part in my novels, and one of the reasons why I switched languages was to seek a more welcoming industry.
